How long will it take to receive my order?

We make all Cariboo pieces to order. Please allow 2 - 6 weeks for most items as it depends on where we are in the cycle of manufacturing as to when you will receive your order. Bedding and clothing items you should receive in approx 10 working days. The Cariboo Cot collections are manufactured in small runs - including the accessories and can take 4 - 8 weeks again depending on where we are in the manufacturing cycle. We are here to help and if you have due date looming and need something sooner please email us info@thecaribooshop.com and we will see what we can do.

What time of the day will my order be delivered?

We use an independant courier company and send all items on signature tickets. Because of the nature of the product the couriers will require the items to be signed for. If you are not home they will normally leave a card so you can contact them with an appropriate delivery time.

If you are on rural delivery your package will be given to your rural delivery driver by the couriers and we have no control over when they will deliver it, however it normally only takes an extra day.

Cariboo of New Zealand and The Cariboo Shop takes no responsibility for delays caused by couriers.

Does my bassinet come with a mattress?

Yes! All Cariboo bassinets come with a firm foam mattress and baseboard.

The mattress is not included with the Cariboo cots

What size mattress do the Cariboo Cots take?

Both the Classic and Contemporary cots take a USA standard size cot mattress. These are approx 1300 x 690mm. The gap between the top of the mattress and the sides and ends should be no more than 40mm when the mattress is pushed into one corner.

Do you allow returns or exchanges?

If the product is in its orignal packaging and is undamaged we will happily exchange less the cost of freight. Please choose carefully because we are unable to give refunds if you change your mind.

What about damaged product?

 Under the Consumers Act, in the unlikely event you receive a damaged or faulty product we will repair or replace the item to a new standard.

Cariboo's 2 year manufacturers warranty applies ONLY to Cariboo products. For all warranty claims proof of purchase is required.

Do you lay-buy?

No we do not allow lay buys
